This Law maps the “9 Directional Influence Stars (Leaning Stars) onto the 24 Mountains using 15-degree accuracy, unlike Flying Stars which works in 45-degree blocks.
These  9 Leaning Stars provide a way to assess wealth, relationships, productivity, and health based on directional influence.

The Golden Dragon Wealth Matrix

Direct Spirit · Indirect Spirit · Wealth Activation in Period 9

Golden Dragon is the prosperity engine of Liu Fa — and it works very differently from Flying Stars.
In Flying Stars (XKFS), the 5 Yellow is feared as a harmful star.
In Liu Fa, the same star becomes the Golden Dragon, representing movement, opportunity, and incoming wealth.

This Law also introduces Direct Spirit and Indirect Spirit — two directional sets that guide where mountain and water should be placed. 
And here is the key:
Liu Fa calculates Direct & Indirect Spirit completely differently from Flying Stars. They do NOT share the same sectors, rules, or logic. Flying Stars uses the Fei Xing “timely/untimely” star method.
Liu Fa uses Golden Dragon + Early Heaven structure, creating a separate and much simpler energy map.

Castle Gate in XKLF is one of its most unique and powerful components — and it is not the same Castle Gate taught in Flying Stars.

In Flying Stars (XKFS), “Castle Gate” usually refers to tapping a specific 45-degree sector to activate auspicious star combinations.
This is a chart-based activation technique.

In XKLF, Castle Gate is completely different.
It is based on landform-based Qi entry method. 

XKLF Castle Gate Law is simple, practical, and incredibly effective in modern cities — especially in apartments, high-rises, shoplots, offices, malls, and dense urban environments where traditional “mountain–water” setups do not exist.
