Connecting with the qi men deities has always been an intriguing topic for me. Before becoming a practitioner, I was just a client of my mentor, filled with curiosity about metaphysics. I still remember when I was first introduced to the qi men deities, how to connect with them, and how to extract my necessities from them. I know this sounds very tacky; there will be some spiritual policemen out there who will raise their whips to teach you that 'extracting your necessities' is not what the qi men deities are there for. But after attending lectures from various masters and hearing input from many others, the summary I could provide by stripping down all the ornamentations is, "YOU JUST GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR."

Yes, the basics of Qi Men spirituality are all about creating and strengthening your connections with the 10 Qi Men deities. For absolute beginners, it can be challenging to distinguish these deities from the concepts of deities described in various religious texts. However, I want to emphasize that spiritual practice has never been synonymous with religious practice for me. Still, I won't delve further into this, as this is not the platform for a debate between religion and spirituality.

 

But from the Qi Men perspective, the 10 deities represent 10 types of cosmic energies. It?s worth mentioning that no one can deny that a human being with vitality and consciousness is merely evidence of the existence of a functional cosmic energy. However, most people struggle to understand that this energy is actually internal and not external, even though our thoughts often deviate to interpret the word 'cosmic' as something external.

 

To bring more clarity to this concept, the deities are the source of inspiration or ideas, which become the seed of your future. And the route for connection with deities is your subconscious mind. Discussion about the subconscious mind is too vast to explore in this piece. But to be precise, your message or command should be sent to your subconscious space, from where the qi men deities will send back signals in the form of ideas or inspirations concerning your commands.

 

 

Today, in this piece, I have an interest in sharing a real-life experience on manifestation with the snake deity. Snake deity is a mystic deity, knows how to function, and even knows how to bend. It can find you the way for any purpose you want. Even though it works very fast. It is also popularly known as the deity who can change the weather. I had heard many stories from various masters about how they used the snake deity to change the weather, like mostly postponing rain, or asking for a rain-free period to travel. But I never had such an experience.

 

 

This is one of my experiences when I had just learnt Qi Men. I was driving back home from a late-night call. It was almost 3:30 am. I was just about to enter the lane of my rental house. Usually, the landlord locks all the gates at night. So once I reached home, I had to come out of the car, unlock all the gates, then drive the car inside the garage, and then again come outside to lock all the gates. But shockingly, a huge hailstorm started in the middle of the night, just 5 minutes before I could reach home. The hailstorm was so severe that it was impossible to open up all the gates and enter the house without getting drenched by water, and the heavy pieces of falling hailstones added to the danger of opening the gates without an umbrella.

 

 

Just when the storm started, I remembered about the masters' experiences and gave the command to the Snake deity, "Stop the rain for 5 minutes".

It does sound funny, but the intensity of the rain increased. Then I remembered something, the concept of 'realms of possibility'. I did realise, at this stage, it was impossible to stop the rain, then what to do?

 

This time, I took more control of myself and sent the command to the Snake deity, "Snake deity, I am about to reach home in 5 minutes, do something so that I can reach home with dry clothes".

I reached home within 4 minutes and waited inside my car outside the gates of the house for another 1 minute. Suddenly, I could see that all the lights of the house were turned on at 3:35 am. I could hear someone opening the locks of the gate. To my surprise, it was my landlord himself (he usually goes to sleep by 10:30 pm every night) who opened up all the gates for me to clear my way to the garage. I parked the car inside and went directly upstairs to my room. Not a single drop of water soaked my clothes. My landlord again closed all the gates behind me.

 

The next morning, I met the landlord to thank him. I just asked him, "Were you awake so late, that too at 3:30 am?"

 

He said, "Not at all, I was in deep sleep. I just woke up out of nowhere. It was very unusual for me. Once I opened my eyes, I saw your car headlights outside the window. I went outside and saw you waiting. I realised you can't open the gates yourself in that hailstorm. So I came out to help you. That's it."

 

 

I thanked him heartily again.

 

But needless to mention, whom I should actually be thankful to.

 

The snake deity has its own mystical ways to work. Though it couldn't stop the rain, it found a way to send me home without a single drop of rain falling on me. I just felt a small miracle in my life.
